Our Objectives
Knit to Cure is dedicated to empowering marginalized communities by providing knitting workshops that foster creativity, skill development, and economic opportunity. Our mission is to use the art of knitting as a tool for social impact, by offering individuals, especially young adults with autism and refugees, a means to build confidence, develop sustainable skills, and generate income.
Through our workshops, collaborations, and community-driven initiatives, we strive to promote awareness, encourage self-expression, and provide opportunities that enable individuals to thrive.
Core Values

C
Connection
Knitting has the power to connect people across genders, ages, backgrounds, and abilities. From the rural communities where raw materials are sourced to the skilled individuals crafting each piece, every step of the process involves people from diverse backgrounds, coming together through a shared craft.
S
Sustainability
Our yarn and wool are ethically sourced from ethnic groups in the mountainous regions of northern Thailand. By working directly with these communities, we not only ensure high-quality, sustainable materials but also provide economic support.
C
Confidence
With every stitch, individuals build confidence in their abilities, discovering their creative potential and developing a sense of accomplishment. Whether it’s learning a new technique or seeing their handmade pieces, the process fosters self-assurance. We aim to help individuals grow not just as artisans, but as confident individuals ready to take on new opportunities.
